All schools and district departments will reopen on Tuesday, December 12th on their regular schedules. The winds are diminishing and  SDGE has restored power to much of Valley Center with only about 600 customers still without power today, hopefully to be restored tonight. All schools have power restored.

Students do not need to make up the day and are not counted absent for today.

A big thank you to CAL Fire, SD Sheriff's Department and all first responders for keeping Valley Center safe during this unprecedented purple flag warning.

Thank you

Thank you for visiting our website!  Pauma School is a rural TK-8 school in northeast San Diego County with an enrollment of 220 students.  We are committed to academic excellence in a safe, caring community.  Our goals include increasing academic achievement and to increase parent involvement. Teachers are able to address the individual needs of students as a result of these efforts through Response to Intervention and implementation of intervention strategies.

This dedicated and supportive staff has worked to increase student achievement.  In addition to a well-rounded curriculum that meets all state standards, we offer physical education, technology instruction, music, and an athletic program to include golf instruction with an award winning golf facility.  We have an after-school program with a focus on academics, athletics, and the arts.  Our students are provided with many wonderful learning opportunities through our library, cutting edge classroom technology, field trips, focus classes, character programs, student assemblies, and family learning events.  These activities help enrich our students’ lives and improve their knowledge and skills.

We are committed to keeping our students safe online.
